How I4P was established
Established by GFFO in 2022, in partnership with the United Nations
I4P was established in 2022 under the leadership of the German Federal Foreign Office, in partnership with the United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO) and the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). In 2026, the African Development Bank and the Republic of South Africa joined them to form I4P’s Donor Advisory Committee.
Investing in I4P helps transform fragile markets into future investment destinations.
